Underneath It All: Submarine Bedtime Story

After struggling with an explanation for my children about why Daddy was away, I decided to write a book explaining the day to day life aboard a submarine. With my husband’s help, I tried to write the book in a way that little ones would understand. I hope it will not only inform, but comfort your children as well. My book serves as a reminder that our sailors are always working hard to keep their loved ones safe and provided for. I hope your family enjoys this story!

  1. Good morning from the UK.

I am a chapain with the Royal Navy Submarine Services who deploys with our boats. After coming across your work, I am encouraged to see there is material for children to benefit from to help them understand submarine deployments which as you are aware are completely different from service fleet.

I would be very interested in talking about the possibility of starting a project whereby you could adapt your book for the Royal Navy Submarine Service. I have begun conversations with my seniors as well as those in church leadership who may be willing to support this project. I would be grateful if we could initiate a conversation.
